George Way 20x14, 12x8, 13x9, 14x14 and 16x16 Walnut Matte Cordia Kit

Offered for sale is my beautiful George Way drum kit in the highly figured Walnut Cordia finish.

The kit was originally purchased as a 20/12/14 configuration and was later expanded with matching 13x9 and 16x16 drums, resulting in a complete and highly versatile 5-piece setup.

About the Kit

The Walnut Cordia finish is one of the most striking finishes George Way has ever offered, with beautiful grain patterns and depth throughout the entire set.

The drums produce a warm, rich and resonant sound with excellent low-end, musical sustain and remarkable versatility. Whether used for jazz, singer-songwriter sessions, Americana, roots music, pop or studio work, this kit always delivers.

The matching 13x9 and 16x16 drums were added later and complete the set perfectly. Finding a complete Walnut Cordia configuration like this is becoming increasingly difficult.

Condition

The kit is in excellent overall condition and has been carefully maintained throughout ownership.

It has primarily been used in my private drum school and has only been on stage a handful of times. It has never been used as a heavily toured kit and has always been stored indoors in a smoke-free environment.

The shells, finish and chrome hardware all present beautifully, with only minor signs of normal use.

Reason for Sale

I recently entered into a new endorsement agreement, which means this kit is no longer receiving the playing time it deserves.

This is a reluctant sale of a truly exceptional instrument.
