Product Details

A 1981 Gibson SG Standard has arrived! This is a rare model with specifications produced in limited quantities in the early 1980s, including a side jack, switch placement, and Nashville bridge.

While there are noticeable paint chips on the back of the neck and near the contour, as well as other dents and scratches, the overall condition shows signs of use, but we believe it can be enjoyed as part of its vintage character.

The rear pickup has been replaced with a Seymour Duncan JBJ, and the rear volume pot has also been replaced accordingly. While not in its original condition, the pickup itself is a popular model sometimes treated as a collector's item, making this a practical custom modification.

The sound is characterized by a solid mid-low range and crisp highs, with quick response to picking and flexible handling for chords and lead playing. The rear Seymour Duncan JBJ provides a driven sound, and the sharp attack characteristic of vintage SGs remains intact.

This model, with its aged patina that feels comfortable in your hands and expands your playing range the more you play it, is a versatile instrument perfect for both collections and performances.

Please consider this opportunity.
