This is a 1988 REV 1 Chandler Tube Driver, 1U rackmount, and appears completely untouched.
I have included pictures of the internals, and here is what I see:
Tube: Hammond branded USA-made 12AX7. Most likely Sylvania-made. Has Made in USA markings. So if it’s not original, it’s definitely period correct.
PCB: Original. Marked Chandler, 1988, REV 1.
Transformer: Original. Thordarson PFC-242, USA-made, def not a cheap transformer.
Tube socket: Original.
Wiring harnesses: Original.
Pots: Original style, no evidence of replacement.
Fuse holder: Original.
Caps: Original ACE Japan electrolytic.
Power cord: Fixed, 2-prong.
It’s been played and performs wonderfully. I had it in a rack with an ADA MP1. Visual condition good, missing one knob and the knob inserts on 2 others.
Ever heard of these guys: Billy Gibbons, David Gilmour, Eric Johnson? This is the unit they used at the time (well not this EXACT one. I think, who knows :)).
