Lovies Guitars is excited to present this Rare! 2001 Gibson ES-335 Dot Semi-Hollow Electric Guitar finished in stunning Candy Apple Red. This eye-catching and harder-to-find finish on the legendary Gibson ES-335 platform combines timeless semi-hollow tone with standout vintage-inspired aesthetics.

The ES-335 has long been regarded as one of the most versatile electric guitars ever made, offering the perfect balance between hollowbody warmth and solid-body sustain. Its laminated maple construction with a solid center block delivers rich resonance, articulate mids, smooth highs, and excellent feedback resistance for everything from blues and jazz to rock and fusion.

The Candy Apple Red finish gives this classic Dot model a bold visual presence while preserving the unmistakable Gibson ES styling players and collectors love.

This guitar is all original (OG) and comes complete with its Original Hardshell Case (OHSC).

Condition is rated at 9.4/10 – Very Good. There is light play wear and scratches on the top, a few light scratches on the back, and light hardware tarnishing. There are also areas of finish checking around hardware screws on the top and back of the headstock, light scuffing on the front tip of the headstock, tiny finish dings on the back, and light finish wear on sections of the binding near one horn and the waist. Overall, an extremely clean and well-preserved example with attractive natural aging.
