Originally an Epiphone SG Gothic limited edition, it has been stripped and refinished in a red "open-pore" slightly distressed finish, protected by several layers of Crimson's guitar finishing lacquer. Blue tone high-quality wiring, pots, and switch. Gibson 490 R and 490 T humbuckers, Grover tuners. Looks, plays, and sounds incredible. No fret wear, natural finish on the back of the neck, low action.
The name "Roma" on the headstock is a sticker, easily removable. The backplate is missing and it has been replaced with a piece of plastic cut to fit: it will be easy to source a replacement part, but I never felt the need for it.
