The M235 Smart Gate Pro is MXR's rack-mount noise gate, an enhanced version of the Smart Gate pedal. It offers noise reduction with three selectable frequency ranges (Hiss, Mid, and Full) and a precise threshold. It features two discrete channels and a Sync function that synchronizes the two channels to reduce stereo signal noise. It includes true hardwire bypass circuitry for each channel, a ground lift function, and status LEDs. It can be controlled with the MXR M235FC footswitch.

This pedal controls the MXR rackmount noise gate, the MXR M235 Smart Gate Pro. It has two outputs for the two channels of the M235. It can be powered by a 9-volt battery, using an adapter such as the Dunlop ECB003 9-volt battery.
