Right in the midst of one of music's most electrifying decades, the 1965 Stratocaster was on its way to becoming one of rock's most important electric guitars. A perfect example of a Strat in a transitional year, the 1965 Stratocaster® features a maple neck with a 1965 "C" profile, this time with a round-lam rosewood fingerboard and larger dot inlays. Other vintage features include a three-ply white pickguard with 11 holes, the incredibly cool transition logo with larger lettering, and a set of stunning Pure Vintage 1965 gray-bottom pickups.
