Jose Ramirez 1972 Classical Guitar - handmade Ramirez quality, built in the style of Andres Segovia's guitar

This Jose Ramirez 1972 classical guitar combines the great Spanish master tradition with immediately playable perfection. Constructed according to the classic Ramirez building principle - similar to Segovia's famous concert instrument - this example offers the typical, deeply rooted Ramirez character: a powerful, yet clearly defined tone that displays warmth in the mids and a mysterious, singing presence in the trebles.

The guitar has a cedar top, which gives the sound of this Ramirez special warmth and fullness, as well as back and sides made of fine Brazilian rosewood (with Cites certificate), which give the sound depth and definition. With a scale length of 664 mm and a nut width of 54 mm, the instrument combines classical proportions with a comfortable playing feel - ideal for concert and chamber music as well as for demanding soloists. The string action is professionally adjusted and extremely comfortable for Ramirez guitars with 3.7 mm E and 2.9 mm e at the 12th fret. The intonation is clean and the frets are in very good condition, so that the guitar plays very directly and inspiringly.

The instrument is in good, well-kept condition with only minor signs of use and wear; a tiny repair was made to the back of the guitar. Overall, the guitar is stable and absolutely concert-ready. It is supplied in its original guitar case.

The Ramírez workshop has enjoyed a worldwide reputation for generations and is one of the most influential manufacturers in classical guitar making. Ramírez instruments are known for their musical personality: they combine a powerful and assertive sound with a wealth of nuances and elegant projection - qualities that this 1972 example embodies to perfection.

If you are looking for a Ramirez that has the essence of the traditional Spanish concert guitar and at the same time is immediately inspiring to play, this Jose Ramirez 1972 Classical Guitar is an exceptional instrument with real musical richness.
