For sale here is an all-analogue stereo delay made in Japan in the early 80s—the infamous Arion SAD-1.
This particular specimen comes belongs to the first series, with grey box design and MN3025 BBD chip.
It is in perfect working conditions and great overall cosmetic conditions. The knobs and the fader are firm and produce no unwanted noise. The battery holder had a crack which was covered with tape, but it works as it should.
The sound this pedal produces is dirty in a very charming way—perfect both for slapback echo and longer, ambient delays. Also, the possibility to use it in stereo opens up a lot of great opportunities to shape your sound.
I've personally used it with great results both with guitars and synths, and I'm selling it just because I have another one.
The pedal can be powered with a 9V PSU, but works best with a 12V PSU, battery or in a 9V daisy chain.
External PSU is not included.
