Red Sound RK8 Stage Cab - FR/FR Black

The RK8 Active Stage Cabinet is a monophonic 8-inch "Stage Cab" designed for all musical genres. 

It features a convenient "wedge" format that can also be stood upright or pole-mounted on a speaker stand. It is excellent for use with the Fractal Audio Systems Axe-Fx III, FM9, FM3, and all of our previous amp modeling products as well as 3rd party systems, keyboards, and more. 

The built-in monophonic power amp features Red Sound's proprietary RAW-P technology for outstanding clarity and response. It features a high-performance Red Sound by SICA® exponential driver with a custom 8-inch woofer and coaxial high frequency driver. The benefits of this design become evident when compared to devices with a separate tweeter, which can cause phase issues around the crossover frequency — a particularly critical area for guitar applications. 

The elegantly designed cabinet is meticulously handcrafted from high quality materials including poplar plywood and an extremely durable exterior coating able to withstand the rigors of touring. The speakers are highly portable with a convenient hand grip, and pack a lot of power into a small, grab-and-go format.

RK.8 STEREO SET

Create a stereo set with the Red Sound RK.8 Active by powering a ELIS.8 Passive with one speaker cable to the RK.8 Active.

POWER OUT LEFT

1x Combined Jack/Speakon Output, provides an powered version of the left channel signal entering the speaker. This can be used to power one of the passive Red Sound speakers or to connect to any other signal acquisition system.

Entirely handcrafted and meticulously detailed, it is recommended for professional guitarists and bassists who want to experience the feel of an amp behind their back.
