The idea behind TS808DX is to leave the beauty of 808 and add another switch and knob for boost this effect , which is vey helpful on stage . Now you have your 3 in 1 : clean , overdriven and solo sound . You can decide if the boost is before or after tubecreamer .
Mine works perfect. Small signs of use with scratches here and there and some small paint chips .
