Parallel setups are becoming more popular. We can see why. Rather than having one device's signal feeding into the next, which feeds into into the next, and so on using a traditional serial signal path, with each device affecting the device downstream from it (for better or worse), setting up your devices in parallel lets you mix and combine the sounds from whatever you put in each channel in new and creative ways. How about mixing a fuzz with a clean delay or phaser? Or the sounds of two distortion pedals? The Saturnworks parallel pedal becomes an experimental platform for combining whatever you can imagine.

We noticed that customers commonly purchase a 2-way splitter and a 2-channel active summer in order to set up a 2-channel parallel signal path. We thought, why not simplify things by offering both in the same enclosure? The Saturnworks parallel pedal simply combines two of our most popular offerings: our 2-way buffered splitter and our 2-channel active summer into one convienent enclosure. This saves space and cost versus two separate pedals. Of course you don't have to use the splitter/summer to create parallel signal paths. You can simply use it as a buffered splitter or an active summer for whatever applications you can come up with.

The active/buffered splitter prevents signal loss when splitting and our active summing circuitry prevents levels issues with mismatched impedance and crosstalk between channels -- issues that may arise when using passive summers/mixers.

This pedal can also be set up for bass. The bass version opens up more lower end frequency range, but doesn't cut any highs. If you would like a bass version, just send a message after you check out requesting a bass setup.
