Up for sale is a Matchless Chieftain 40-watt 2x12 tube combo amplifier (Serial # J20242) in excellent working order. This version features the desirable dual Hi / Low front input jacks, allowing you to tailor your input sensitivity—use the High input for maximum punch and early tube breakup, or the Low input (-6dB pad) for higher clean headroom with humbuckers and active pickups.
Equipped with two 12" Matchless Special Design Celestion speakers (30W each, 60W total handling), this amp delivers massive dynamic range, lush tube-driven spring reverb, and signature Matchless EL34 tone.
