The new Strymon Sunset offers the best of classic overdrive circuits, custom-tuned for instantly gratifying control over a wide range of sought-after tones. Strymon has taken six unique circuit topologies found in many iconic classic overdrives and combined them into a single, two-channel unit. Sunset is really two customizable, independently switchable, flexible signal paths overdrives, specifically designed and calibrated for complementary sounds when paired together. Six distinct circuits that react differently to your hands, two in one, together in the same convenient package. Push your amp any way you want, from transparent to overdriven and everything in between. Since the days when overdrives were created simply to push an amp to the limit, in order to get a saturated sound even at a reasonable volume, guitarists have quickly evolved to wanting more levels, multistage sounds. Adding multiple stages together gives you more flexibility and a wider range of available tones. You may find an overdrive that sounds great on its own, but running it through a second overdrive takes it to a whole new level. The Sunset lets you use each of the six overdrive circuits individually, or add the overdrive of channel A through channel B, or conversely channel B through channel A, or even use the two circuits in parallel.
