1965 ES-345TD Stereo Sunburst Made in Kalamazoo. Mahogany neck with bound rosewood finberboard, faux pearl split parallelogram position markers. Mother of pearl leaf and Gibson logo on headplate. Some natural checking and a few small dents here and there. Original hardware, Kluson Deluxe tuners with plastic keystone buttons, two humbuckers with gold covers, gold ABR bridge and trapeze tailpiece. The varitone does add extra weight but the sound and feel of this guitar quickly pushes that worry to the back of the mind. The sound is authoritative without being too heavy in the lower midrange. The bridge pickup barks when encouraged whilst the neck pickup is all kinds of smooth without losing definition. 42mm to the nut, pots dating 1965 Serial number 3475XX , new frets, strong neck low action, Super Sound EXC OHC code GI720 No break and no repair anywhere.
