This is a fantastic guitar, and I'm not completely sold on the idea of letting it go. It's now around 11 years old and still sounds amazing. I believe I am the second owner; the first claimed to have had the most random succession of unfortunate setbacks during the exchange that this guitar became known in my family as "Crazy Taylor". If I were a song writer, I'd have made a country song of it. In all probability, the original owner was just having second thoughts, too.

The guitar is in excellent shape. The ES2 electronics work well. It has some normal wear from play, as shown in the last three photos. Two of the photos show some pick wear on the upper bout and the last photo shows a single dimple on the back. None of these defects appear to breach the glossy clearcoat. In fact, none of them are apparent during regular handling and viewing - you have to look for them with the right light. The hardshell case also has minor wear but is likewise in excellent condition.

Summarizing Taylor's own description, the guitar is an acoustic-electric with Grand Symphony body size, a venetian cutaway, and a shaded edgeburst with a gloss finish. The top, back, and sides are all made of solid Koa. The neck is mahogany with a satin finish. The fretboard, bridge, bridge pins, and truss rod are all ebony. The fretboard is embellished with an artistic Island Vine inlay - the one with flowers. The sound hole is accented with a rosewood-maple inlay. The binding is Indian rosewood. The nut and saddle are bone. The electronics are their Expression System 2 with volume, treble, and bass control knobs. By design, there is no pickguard. The original 2015 list price was $5,458.

I will ship with either FedEx or UPS, depending on shipping and insurance costs to your location. Given the value of the guitar, I insist on shipping with a signature requirement.
