Master volume, blend knob with percentage plate, tone.

One of the most common and usually the first mod one does to their jazz bass is the blender mod. Instead of using the standard volume volume tone on from the factory builds, this mod allows the pickups to be blended by one knob. However, SCE would like to add a spin to it. with the percentage plate, the exact blend amount can be seen and memorized for future reference. Range is full bridge PU at 0 to full neck PU at 100.

Also included are the SCE treble bleed standard on the master volume.
150k resister in series with a .001uF cap dipped in red electrical tape to prevent shorting to ground. treble bleeds will retain your high end when you roll the volume down. Not as drastic as a guitar but enough to notice. Bassists need to retain consistent tone regardless of a volume change. Also a treble bleed in this configuration will allow more overall output throughout the entire frequency spectrum.

Tone cap is a standard .047uF tone cap. Dipped for aesthetic reasons matching the treble bleed.

When ordering, please select knob choice in pictures above.
