Needful Strings and Needful Things!

Here for sale is a bit of an odd bird. Strings & Things was a famous and long-running guitar store in Memphis. It opened in 1982 and closed a few years back, though I think they still keep an online store. For a period of time in the 1990s to early 2000s, they had their own line of guitars. They didn't make a ton of them, so these are pretty rare finds.

This one came to me with a separation at the scarf joint (below the headstock), so I had to seal it back together. It is stronger than before now. I figured since I had to sand the neck a little to complete the neck repair, might as well give it a little bit of a believable relic to complete the look. I am a fan of how it turned out!

Otherwise, this thing plays and feels perfect! The pickups really sound great and the craftsmanship is top notch. As always, we cleaned it up, polished the finish, flushed the electronics, changed the strings and set the action low and smooth. I pack my guitars up tight and insure every package for the full purchase amount.
