EDIT! ON 8/19/2022, just found out this was posted in the 12 string category by reverb MONTHS ago (so that's why this likely hasn't sold, it hasn't gotten the exposure it should).  I'm hopefully getting it fixed to 6 string acoustic guitar category soon.  Get a great deal since I started at $4500 and have come down $1000.  I listed it on ebay about a week or two ago and have gotten a bunch of offers around $3k.  Reasonable offers will be considered.

This 1999 Taylor W-15 is essentially a 915 but with with Claro Walnut sides and recently went back to the Taylor factory to be restored to perfection including a refret.

In January of 2021 this guitar went back to Taylor's factory for the full renew package including a full refret, new nut, new saddle, refinish the back (had a 4 inch crack that is now hardly noticable) and tighten all bracing and binding, neck reset, and set up perfectly.

The cost for the factory work was $650 alone (NOT include shipping across the country which was another $150! so $800 was spent on this guitar recently).

Sparingly played since then, since I unfortunately have minimal time to devote to such an fine instrument. It should be played.

This guitar sings like a vintage instrument that has had 23 years to open up, and it plays perfectly.  Extremely minor dings (everything pictured) and extremely minor picking wear from play (hard to see, right around the high E string)

It is the top of the line crown jewel of Taylor's limited edition walnut-bodied acoustic guitars made in the late 90's/early 2000's from a private stock of Walnut. High Gloss top/sides/back and smooth satin neck feels excellent. Jumbo body, 17 inches wide at the lower bout. Sitka spruce top. Mahogany neck with a soft-V profile, 1 3/4” wide nut, ebony fretboard, and a 15” radius. Fler-de-le pattern inlays with matching headstock. The top is trimmed in abalone as is the soundhole. Has an undersaddle pickup installed and has a 9v battery. Unsure on the brand, but it sounds excellent. Comes with the original velvet lined hardshell case.

Additionally, and unverifiable but quite interesting is that Ed Roland of Collective Soul used this guitar for live shows and studio work. I traded a high end Alembic bass guitar for this Taylor years ago with a lawyer from Stockbridge who says he worked with the band in some capacity regarding the payment of recording studio time. Ed Roland is known to have an extensive guitar collection and the band is from Stockbridge, but I cannot verify any of this.

Ships inside the USA for $120 or worldwide for $300, hopefully (if available in your country). Acoustic guitar boxes are BIG!

Video is with old strings on my camera phone but gives an idea of the guitar.
