HipStrap was born in December 2014 as a hobby.
It is the right point where my passion about music and my family legacy with more than 50 years of history and experience intersect.
On one hand, melomania, love for musical instruments, art and the counterculture of the 60s and 70s. On the other, a family legacy related to the textile industry of embroidery with more than 50 years of experience and continuous learning. From this is born HipStrap, a different brand that focuses on the design and quality of all our vintage style guitar straps and accessories.
HipStrap promotes and celebrates the artistic culture that over the years has been minimized. Accompanying each artist in that magical moment of creation and exhibition fills our souls.
Today, what was born as a dream continues to grow. Our vintage style guitar straps are used by great international musicians and locals of the likes of Richie Kotzen, Glenn Hughes, Dave Catching, Alain Johannes, Iron & Wine, Doug Aldrich, Courtney Barnett, Jonathan Wilson, Usted Señalemelo, Morbo and Mambo, Emma Horvilleur, Nico Bereciartúa, etc.
Each of our products is handmade with the finest materials. This raw materias are selected 100% by hand, emphasizing the details and the quality of completion. This, plus highly detailed workmanship let us offer top notch vintage style guitar straps and accessories.
