SOLD! 1987 Gibson ES-175 D in RARE aged white finish, Hollowbody electric guitar

SOLD LOCALLY>>SORRY! 1987 Gibson ES-175 in RARE white finish! This is a beautifully aged Gibson ES Jazz Box in a super rare color. It looks gorgeous with the gold trim and rosewood fingerboard. Excellent jazz tones coming from this guitar a la Pat Metheny. Also famously used by Steve Howe.. but this specific color was the same guitar played by Izzy Stradlin in Guns-n-Roses!! The neck pickup on this is to die for :) Excellent tone MONSTER! The bridge pick up is not as hot and output is much quieter than the neck Humbucker.  I believe these may be Tim Shaw pickups but I am not sure. Has a great feel with nice smooth action. This guitar is suited for jazz, country, rockabilly, blues, and classic rock, but ..certainly not metal! (unless you like feedback!).

This is NOT a collector's grade Gibson.. however, it's in very good Player's condition..I am stating this due to stress cracks in the finish. 
Details... the white finish has yellowed a bit and it's now a creamy color! It's a bit more yellowed which is hard to capture in pictures.. Very pleasing.. The electronics and hardware are all original from what I can tell. There are blemishes, checking and some finish cracks lines (cosmetic only). As you would expect from a 30 year old guitar.. despite this, the guitar is in very good shape. Absolutely no structural damage or repairs. The frets feel great and are original. The neck is medium sized and feels very comfortable. Some patina on the gold as you would expect.

So again, cosmetically.. there are the usual bumps, nicks and bruises.. but nothing major and not a lot of wear in any one section. There is some light checking on the top.. Everything functions 100% as it should!
