Information by Martijn Tevel ; This is a 1:1 clone of my own unit (also pictured) in a vertical format. The sound is spot on and checked against the original on my oscilloscope. Original units are highly sought after and are no longer made. Did alot of research and there are 2 versions of this effect out there, one tighter like the DAM Meathead (also rare and expensive) it's based on, the other bassier and doomier. An internal dipswitch let's you select between the two versions on this PCB of my own design. And yes, it dooms 🤘
MTFX is a new brand of effect pedals made in the Netherlands and is founded by Martijn Tevel.
Martijn Tevel is also the guitarist of the much beloved and well respected band called the " Sweet Release of Death " and is currently doing a tour in the UK headlining with " Jezus and the Mary Chain ".
