The Case... This instrument comes is a Lifton Reissue style case. This is the less historically accurate and more protective version with a double neck rest. The outside is in good shape with light scuffs from storage. The interior is pink and in great shape. The warrant pamphlet and COA are inside the case. The COA calls this a Les Paul Axcess.
The Guitar! Here is an interesting guitar-based off the very rare, Japan-Exclusive run of 30 Kazuyoshi Saito Gibson Les Paul Axcess 1 P90 Gold tops. This is labeled as CC Aging Proto #8. The hardware has been aged by Gibson and there is some finish checking by the knobs, by the pickup and on the horn of the cutaway as well as around the edges of the guitar. The KS (Kazuyoshi) decal can be viewed under blacklight on the back of the headstock. You can see a small paint run from the factory by the pickup.
Besides just being a cool mashup of a Les Paul Junior, ES-295 and a '54 Goldtop - this is actually a Les Paul Axcess with a sculpted heel joint to make playing the higher registers of the fretboard easier. In my opinion, the nut slot is cut too low for the A string.
