a. valve vluster

the horn has standard trumpet valve cluster. ergo, the first valve lowers the pitch of the instrument by a whole tone, the second value by a semitone,and the third valve by a tone and a half.

b. thumb triggers

there are two triggers on this instrument, actuated by the thumbs of each hand. the left hand trigger actuates the bell change valve, while the right hand actuates the intonation valve.

c. leadpipe

the leadpipe is shaped like a cruved neck for easy play. and is held in place with a clamp tightened with a screw.the instrument is tunded by lengthening or shortening the leadpipe.

d. intonation valve

this valve can be tuned either to f#, or to f. it can therefore be used to replace either the 2+3 or 1+3 valve fingerings for improved intonation

e. muted bell

this bell has a copper built in non removeable mute permanently attached mute. so all notes played through this bell have a soft ,metallic quality. there is also a sound effect open and close on top of mute attachment, can create an even softer muted quality.

f. standard bell

this bell is a standard trumpet bell, allowing downside up trumpet sound full range better than poninted foward trumpet.

g. change valve

this valve changes between the two bells of the instrument, allowing the player to quickly switch for effect, or for call,and,response playing.

h. pinky paddle

this pinky paddle operates the muted trumpet side of the trumpet open on top of the trumpet open and close value
