Imagine a guitar from a time not so long ago, a guitar created in a less litigious time...for your consideration, a Segovia Les Paul copy from the Lawsuit Era.
Made by Matsumoko in Japan, and if I had to take my guess, I would say 1975-1976.
This thing plays great. The pickups have a really fat tone to them. Classic and crunchy. The action is low and comfortable. There are a few scratches and dings, but nothing too serious, and overall it just adds to the character of the guitar.
The real point of interest on the guitar is a STUNNING abalone binding. Really, it is just beautiful.
As always, I cleaned it up, polished the finish, oiled the board, changed the strings, cleaned the electronic components and set the action as low as I could. Does NOT come with a gig bag or case.
If you want a vintage Les Paul, and you are a little apprehensive about taking out that second mortgage, this is the exact guitar for you.
