It is quite common to see Futurama II guitars for sale and Hagstrom Futuramas, but the Futurama III is more unusual and quite rare so they don't appear for sale often.
This one has obviously been played a great deal and shows plenty of wear to the red finish! The wood is very solid and there are one or two wood splits at the bottom but they are totally stable and not major. As far as I am aware, the guitar is completely original only missing its bridge cover. The bridge/tailpiece itself is a tremolo model and all fully adjustable and one that I have never across before.
The scratchplate is plastic and incorporates the three pickups each with an on/off rocker switch plus overall volume and tone controls. Everything works and this guitar is playable and useable.
Personally, I like the look of it but maybe its not for everybody. It comes with its original softbag.
