Product Details

The JACKSON AUDIO ASABI is a drive pedal combining distortion and overdrive, crafted by Jackson Audio, a company renowned for its innovative effects pedals.

Its appeal lies in its wide gain range and flexible tone adjustment, allowing for the creation of diverse sounds from crunch to high gain.

Combining the rich distortion of analog circuitry with the convenience of digital control, this model pursues the expressiveness and operability demanded by modern guitarists.

This unit features two independent sections: overdrive and distortion. Each can be used individually or combined to create a wide range of sounds.

The distortion section employs a unique structure with interchangeable plug-in modules, allowing for changes in circuit characteristics.

Furthermore, in addition to fine-tuning controls for gain and tone, it also supports external control via MIDI.

Multiple clipping settings allow for variations in distortion texture, enabling flexible settings tailored to playing style and amplifier.

The sound ranges from natural overdrive that preserves picking nuances to thick, powerful distortion.

At lower gain settings, it adds a moderate amount of distortion while maintaining chord separation, making it suitable for blues and classic rock.
Increasing the gain transforms it into a drive sound with rich sustain and sharp attack, suitable for hard rock and modern playing styles. Combining the two drive modes allows you to adjust the density of the sound and the breadth of harmonics, enabling you to enjoy a wide range of sound shaping, from rhythm to lead.

This is recommended for guitarists who want to use a wide range of drive sounds with a single unit, or those who want to pursue the texture of distortion down to the smallest detail.

Its expandability through module replacement and flexible control are major attractions, allowing you to build a sound tailored to your preferences. It's a highly practical unit, also suitable for those who want to combine the sound shaping capabilities of multiple drive pedals into a compact unit.
