The FANTOM-8 EX is Roland's most advanced music workstation yet, designed to spark endless creativity and composition. Packed with powerful sound engines, professional sequencing tools and unparalleled playability, this keyboard places an entire production studio at your fingertips.

Iconic and Modern Sounds Onboard

With over 7,000 onboard sounds derived from Roland's acclaimed sound libraries, the FANTOM-8 EX has all the tones you need to compose in any genre. Three Analog Circuit Behavior expansions provide realistic recreations of the SH-101, JUPITER-8 and JX-3P synths. ZEN-Core synthesis lets you craft entirely unique hybrid sounds by blending acoustic, electronic and modeled tones. There are also world-class pianos from the V-Piano and SuperNATURAL engines as well as essential organs from the Virtual ToneWheel system.

Seamless Computer Integration

The FANTOM-8 EX seamlessly integrates into any computer-based production environment. With its 16x3 USB audio interface, you can send sequencer parts to your DAW, route soft synths through the keyboard's high-quality effects and more. Dedicated control modes optimize the touchscreen for popular DAWs like Ableton Live, Logic Pro and Cubase. You'll enjoy the tactile feel of hardware with the convenience of your computer setup.

Clip-Based Composition and Advanced Sequencing

The FANTOM-8 EX makes arranging and composing music efficient and fun. Its clip-based workflow lets you instantly capture musical ideas as clips to build songs and patterns quickly. There's also a classic step sequencer, piano roll editing and real-time recording. Sixteen RGB pads trigger one-shot samples, loops and patterns on the fly. With such robust tools at your disposal, you'll be creating professional tracks in no time.

Premium Playability and Control

Designed in collaboration with renowned synth designer Axel Hartmann, the FANTOM-8 EX is a dream to play. Its 88 hammer action keys provide premium feel and aftertouch support for nuanced expression. An array of knobs, sliders and buttons put essential controls at your fingertips while the color touchscreen dynamically changes to streamline your workflow.
