We have received a JMV-R2 Jazzmaster from the Japanese brand VanZandt. This is a vintage-inspired model featuring an alder body and a rosewood fretboard.
It is equipped with a "Hornet Switch"—located where the preset circuit controls would typically be—which connects the two pickups in series to produce a thicker, more powerful tone.
This instrument shows signs of wear, including sticker residue, finish smudges, and various scratches, but it remains in good playing condition.
It is fitted with a Mastery Bridge.
Additionally, the neck features beautiful flame figuring.
