Gibson 1978 Les Paul Custom - 3 Pickup Model (Peter Frampton, Ace Frehley, Nigel Tufnel)

Not often you see the 3 pickup model. This one has certainly seen some love over its 45+ year life and has been played in to perfection. The frets are quite low however the guitar plays wonderfully, has a low action and chimes on those open chords. The fret nibs are still present so these appear to be the original frets.

It looks to have had some modifications quite early on likely in the 80s.

Has had the following upgrades:

• Brass Nut
• Sperzel Tuners
• Dimarzio Humbuckers
• Roller Bridge

The guitar comes with its original chainsaw case. And the 2 original bridge posts.

All 4 pot codes read February 1978 and the guitar still has its Original Pie-Tin Covering the electronics.

Weighing in at 4.6KG (approx) this LP is pure players grade goodness, all the customizations are of the era (1980s) and have worn in wonderfully.

All catches on the Chainsaw case are working.
