TL Audio PA-1 Dual Valve Preamp
Around 17 years old. It saw moderate use for several years but has been in storage for the last decade, kept in a dry, smoke-free studio. As far as I know it still has its original valves.
I’ve recently powered it up and tested it. It works well, with no noise or crackling. Happy to send videos of it in action if you’d like to see and hear it before buying.
Condition
The front panel is in very good condition. There are a few very light scratches on the black metal casing, which is normal for a unit that’s been rack mounted.
One thing to be aware of: the XLR release latch on channel 1 is temperamental, so cables can be hard to remove once plugged in. It doesn’t affect the sound or performance. If you’re connecting it permanently to a patchbay or snake, it’s unlikely to bother you. If you swap cables regularly, you may want to replace the connector.
