The Epiphone Broadway is a classic hollowbody archtop guitar that embodies over 80 years of Epiphone jazz guitar heritage. Built in Korea in 2014, this instrument captures the spirit of New York’s swing-era big bands with its deep body, vintage aesthetic, and acoustic resonance. Featuring a spruce top paired with a maple back and sides, the Broadway provides a warm, articulate tone tailored for jazz, blues, and classic swing styles.

Archtop Construction and Tonewoods

The Epiphone Broadway features a floating rosewood bridge and an acoustic-style spruce top over a maple body, yielding clear projection and mid-range warmth. Its maple neck is carved in a comfortable SlimTaper “C” profile, topped with a rosewood fingerboard adorned with elegant abalone block inlays. The gold hardware, classic “E” tortoiseshell pickguard, and historic Frequensator split-trapeze tailpiece complement its timeless archtop aesthetics.

Alnico Classic Humbuckers and Controls

Equipped with a pair of Alnico Classic Humbuckers, the guitar delivers a smooth, vintage-voiced amplified tone. Independent volume and tone controls for both neck and bridge pickups allow players to blend warm, woody neck tones with brighter, defined bridge tones. High-ratio Grover tuners (16:1 ratio) ensure reliable tuning stability for both performance and recording.
