The MXR M233 Micro Amp+ is an upgraded, Custom Shop-designed variation of Jim Dunlop's classic single-knob clean boost pedal. While the original M133 version only features a standalone Gain control, the Micro Amp+ adds active EQ controls, upgraded low-noise op-amps, and true bypass switching to provide comprehensive tone-shaping capabilities alongside its massive volume lift.

Key Upgrades & Features

• Expanded 3-Knob Interface: Features a standard Gain knob alongside an active Bass (±14 dB at 33 Hz) and Treble (±11 dB at 8.4 kHz) EQ section. Setting both EQ knobs to 12 o'clock yields the classic flat-response Micro Amp tone.
• Clean, Transparent Gain: Delivers up to +26 dB of clean boost, making it perfect for driving the front end of a tube amplifier into natural overdrive or lifting your solo volume to cut through a dense mix.
• Ultra-Quiet Operation: Built around premium low-noise op-amps that maintain a pristine -87 dBV noise floor, ensuring your signal stays clean even when the boost is fully pushed.
• True Hardwire Bypass: Unlike traditional buffered bypass designs, it utilizes true bypass switching to preserve your guitar's direct signal integrity when the pedal is turned off.
