The Rickenbacker 660 is a beautiful example of the unique craftsmanship and unmistakable style that have made Rickenbacker guitars so special for generations. At Sims Music, we've always had a soft spot for Rickenbackers, and the 660 is one of those models that really captures everything we love about the brand. Based on a classic design from the 1950s, it features a beautifully figured maple body with a distinctive cutaway, neck-through construction, and the iconic checkerboard binding that gives it such a recognizable look. The rosewood fingerboard with triangular pearloid inlays adds another touch of vintage Rickenbacker character.

Of course, the 660 is about much more than its appearance. Equipped with Rickenbacker's vintage-style reissue pickups and electronics, it delivers the bright, articulate tone and unmistakable chime that have made these guitars favorites among players for decades. Whether you're chasing classic jangle, crisp rhythm tones, or something with a little more bite, the 660 has a personality all its own. Like every new guitar at Sims Music, this Rickenbacker receives a complete professional setup from our team before shipping, so it's ready to play when it arrives.
