This 1980s Fender Sidekick Reverb 65 combo amp comes from the Paul Rivera design era and was among the earlier examples that were manufactured in Japan (they later moved production to Taiwan). It also features the factory-optional Celestion G12K-85 speaker upgrade, which itself is quite a formidable speaker known for full-range tone and high headroom. Also included is a 2-button footswitch to switch channels 1/2 and reverb on/off.
The Fender Sidekick Reverb solid-state series of amps--and this 65-watt model in particular--are known for having incredible clean headroom, a deeply-resonant high-quality cabinet, and a lush internal analog spring reverb.
