Lowden WL-25 IR/RC

The Lowden WL-25 IR/RC is an acoustic guitar featuring a compact body size for easy handling. Its appeal lies in its comfortable size while offering a rich tone and delicate response. It's a versatile instrument suitable for fingerstyle playing and other styles requiring nuanced expression.

This model features a red cedar top, East Indian rosewood sides and back, a mahogany neck, and an ebony fingerboard. The nut width is 45mm, the scale length is 24 inches (610mm), and it has 18 frets. The combination of a compact body and a shorter scale length showcases Lowden's meticulous craftsmanship.

In its natural acoustic sound, it exhibits the soft attack characteristic of red cedar and the deep resonance of East Indian rosewood. It responds smoothly to light touches, and single notes maintain their definition while radiating a rich sustain. In chords, the resonance of each string blends naturally, and despite its small body, it produces a well-balanced sound from low to high frequencies, allowing you to enjoy a pleasant, resonant tone.

This guitar offers the ease of use characteristic of a compact acoustic guitar, while still allowing you to fully enjoy the breadth and sustain of the sound. It's a guitar we recommend not only for those who want to play fingerstyle extensively, but also for those seeking a response and resonance different from a larger body.
