The Gibson EDS-1275 is far more than a novelty - it's a special model that has evolved through the decades and been carried forward through countless legendary performances.
This example is from the later production run, resumed around 1974 after a stop in 1967. During the gap in production, Led Zeppelin IV was released in 1971, and images of Jimmy Page playing an EDS-1275 onstage spread around the world - which likely contributed to more EDS-1275s being built in the 1970s than in the 60s.
A 1970s-era detail: the tuners were changed to plated Gibson Deluxe tuners, narrowing the spacing between buttons and, in turn, allowing for a more compact headstock - a refinement felt visually and in overall weight balance.
This white-finished EDS-1275 shares the same specification as the one used by Eagles' Don Felder on "Hotel California" in 1977 - the very guitar behind that iconic interplay of 12-string and 6-string parts, in an era-defining spec.
A white body, compact headstock, stage-ready looks backed by historic performances - bring home a guitar that conjures Hotel California itself, combining doubleneck romance with real playability.
