Roland TR-505 rom expansion kit that adds three additional sound banks to the machine.
The kit includes all the components needed for proper operation:
- 1 x PCB
- 1 x Pre-programmed ROM chip
- 2 x 14-pin female sockets
- 2 x 14-pin male headers
- 2 x 10kΩ resistors
- 1 x 100nF ceramic capacitor
- 2 x Toggle switches
- Wiring
In total, you will have access to four banks, including the original TR-505 sounds.
You can choose from the following sound banks:
- Akai XR10
- Linndrum V1 or V2
- Linndrum LM1
- Linndrum 9000
- Oberheim DMX
- Roland CR-78
- Roland TR-909
- Roland TR-808
- Roland TR-707
- Sequential Circuits Drumtraks
- Alesis HR-16
- Simmons (Clap Trap, SDS series)
Upon purchase, I will program the ROM chip with the three banks of your choice. The original TR-505 sound bank remains included, resulting in a total of four banks.
I will also provide a step-by-step installation and assembly guide in PDF format.
Installing the kit requires desoldering the IC11 chip and drilling holes in the casing for the two switches.
