Fender 70th Anniversary Edition Antigua Finish Stratocaster. 2024.

This is in Excellent (New/Mint/Collectable) condition.

I bought this brand new from Guitar Center. They were $1499.99 new then.

This was NOT a floor model. I sorted through a few of them at GC. These can really be hit or miss with thin, faded fretboards, blemishes, and uneven paint jobs.

I watched them unbox this guitar from the factory packaging. I did not like the floor models they had on display and asked to see others. This one was the best of the bunch and even better than the others I have checked out at other stores. It had the best fretboard (consistent dark, thick rosewood), neck wood grain, and frets. The Antigua coloring was better to my eyes on this one, more olive than brown, and matched the pickguard colors.

I've played it for maybe an hour at home, and it's been in the case ever since. Still 100% factory stock. It has a pretty decent factory setup. You can take it out and play as-is, or hold onto it, as they are no longer made. The neck profile feels great, and the pickups sound excellent!

It comes with the Fender '70s-style locking hard case with keys, bridge cover, Allen wrenches, and Fender swag shown in the pictures.
