Ibanez S540LTD Jewel Blue
MIJ FUJI-GEN Made In Japan Serial F9705672
1997 S series Limited with brand new Ibanez M300C Hard Case
Excellent Condition See All Photos
Weight: 3.0kg (6.6Pounds) very very light weight and comfortable
Color: Jewel Blue (JB) a metallic blue which appears almost blue-purple depending on light
The thin sides edges and neck pocket are all really good.
There are some small scratches in the gloss only visible upon very close inspection or in bright light or daylight please look at all the photos
Body: Mahogany
Neck: one piece Maple Neck in 1997 this is a thin Wizard neck of that year and the first fret thickness is likely 17mm, 18mm or 19 mm I had measured with a gauge to see if it is the Super Wizard spec.
However according to Ibanez Wiki the Super Wizard designation started in 1998.
Fretboard Rosewood cleaned and treated with Dunlop Formula 65 Fretboard Ultimate Lemon Oil. The binding is also in excellent condition. Upon inspection I do not see any wear which is fantastic for a 1997.
Pickups: original Ibanez Quantums excellent condition
Pickup Resistance:　Neck: 15.1kOhms / Middle 9.0kOhms / Bridge: 17.4kOhms
Hardware is Cosmo Black finish in excellent condition very likely to be All Original. It was shipped from Japan, I believe it had one owner prior to myself.
All the black plastic covers are in place with all screws
Truss Rod works fine, no adjustment needed, action is low and plays fast! effortless legato and sweep arpeggios and bends
Frets Jumbo steel frets are in excellent shape.
Frets are cleaned polished and shined every fret edge and every space between the frets with Miracle All Purpose Polishing Cloth, which has real coconut oil. You might notice that is the pleasant coconut scent when opening the case of a guitar fretboard cleaned with that.
Strings are Ernie Ball 3123 Slinky 9-42 gauge Titanium coated played 3 times with them.
