Very cool partscaster Strat featuring a Warmoth neck, Sonic Blue Squier 40th Anniversary body and a sweet Lindy Fralin loaded pickguard and other high end features (see details below). This guitar plays nice/feels great, the pickups/electronics are excellent and it has a quality bridge with a solid steel block and GraphTech saddles. It's also light (7lbs. 7oz.) and well balanced. Setup with a fresh set of D'Addario NYXL-XS 9s.

This partscaster doesn't just feel like a bunch of random parts thrown together. It was thoughtfully put together with parts that really belong together.

The Fralin electronics are outstanding. They are well balanced, every position is classic Strat, but it doesn't lack balls. The neck pickup is a cool sort of Strat/P90 hybrid. The middle pickup is the perfect Strat middle pickup IMO and the bridge pickup is hot, but not overly dark. And if you're a fan of rolling the tone back on the bridge pickup it does that very well. Also the in-between positions are great, the classic bridge/middle sound is really excellent, very springy and funky and even the neck/middle position is quite nice and useable. All the pickups are clear and well voiced and work very well together.

Condition:

There is very little wear, it's been just played enough that it doesn't have that slightly stiff brand new guitar feel. Fret ends are smooth, no wear on the frets to speak of, only the most minor dings and dents on the edges of the headstock and a hint of wear on the body here and there. All hardly noticeable without a magnifying glass. The back of the neck is flawless, just a little extra smoothing from being played. Only thing to note is one of the tuners is slightly off axis. It's hardly noticeable and doesn't affect the function at all (see photos).

The neck is shimmed with a nice maple shim so the saddles can sit higher so the adjustment screws don't stick out of the top and dig into the hand when palm muting.

Weight is 7lbs. 7oz.

Included is a hardshell case, which in good working condition, with minimal wear.
