For sale is a rare 2010 Gibson Custom Shop Hummingbird 12-String, handcrafted at Gibson's factory in Bozeman, Montana, USA.

The guitar bears serial number 11880045. The original Gibson Final Checklist, included with the instrument, confirms the inspection date of July 23, 2010, and the model designation SHB12NH1. All original Gibson documentation shown in the photographs, as well as the matching Gibson Acoustic hardshell case, are included in the sale.

The instrument is in mint condition. The top, back, sides, neck, and headstock are exceptionally well preserved. The chrome-plated Grover tuning machines, fingerboard, frets, and beautifully decorated Hummingbird pickguard are equally immaculate. There are no scratches, cracks, repairs, or other damage.

The Hummingbird 12-String combines Gibson's legendary square-shoulder dreadnought body with the rich, shimmering sound of a premium twelve-string acoustic guitar. Charakteristisch sind die kräftigen Bässe, präsenten Mitten und brillanten Obertöne. Akkorde entfalten einen großen, räumlichen Klang, ohne dass die einzelnen Töne ihre Kontur verlieren. Die Saitenlage ist optimal eingestellt und ermöglicht ein ermüdungsfreies Spiel, was für 12-saitige Gitarren eher selten der Fall ist. Die Gitarre besitzt Hersteller-seitig ein Tonabnehmer-System.
