1984 Gibson Les Paul Custom in custom-color Pearl White with factory Kahler tremolo. This is a really cool all-original Norlin-era example loaded with the full ’80s Gibson treatment: Tim Shaw PAFs, Gibson-branded Schaller flip-out tuners, diamond Posi-lock strap buttons, factory Kahler and original Gen 3 chainsaw case. The Pearl White finish has aged beautifully with a warm yellowed look and subtle metallic flake that shows much better in person. It has honest playwear throughout, including fretwear, dings and some impressions on the back of the neck around the 7th–9th fret area, but it plays great as-is. The Kahler is currently missing the fine tuners and tremolo arm, so those would need to be sourced if you want full trem functionality. Weight is 11 lbs 1 oz. Just a very complete, very ’80s Les Paul Custom and a great snapshot of Gibson at the end of the Norlin era.
