Its 2-piece alder body provides familiar balance and resonance, while the lacquered maple neck with a ’60s C Vintage Medium profile delivers an old-school feel with excellent comfort.The compound-radius Indian rosewood fingerboard and 22 stainless steel frets allow smooth movement across the neck, from rhythm playing to expressive lead work. Tonally, the SSV bridge humbucker provides hot vintage-style dual-coil sounds with added clarity and definition, while the V63 single-coils in the neck and middle positions capture the bright, chimey character associated with early-’60s S-style guitars.Suhr’s SSCII system keeps single-coil noise under control, preserving the character of the pickups while reducing unwanted 60-cycle hum. A 2-post tremolo with steel block and bent saddles, Suhr locking tuners, and a TUSQ nut provide strong tuning stability and responsive performance.
