Handmade pedals by Björn himself with art and lettering by wife Eva. Mad Professor started 2002 by Harri Koski and Jukka Mönkkönen in Finland with Björn as a Co-founder. They started out with amps and started making pedals 2006. The early ones were handmade in Finland up until 2011. Mad professor changed ownership in 2024, still in Finnish hands though.One control was founded in Japan by Kaz Kawamura and has Björn as a master designer. Bearfoot FX started in 2011 as a collaboration between Björn and Don Rellergert of Donnerbox and makes updates and twists to many of the BJFE designs.
