Moog Minimoog Model D Original ( 1979 - 1981 ) Serviced w case

Original Vintage Minimoog Model D up for sale in studio ready condition, not a re issue. 

This is a late model Mini ( approx 1980 ) that has more stable Oscilators and filters and is often considered a good blend between the at times un-reliable early models and the more apparently 'cleaner' current re-issues. As a player I find there is something special about the original Moogs.

The synth has been fully checked over by a top technician here in Hamburg, Germany and the necessary parts replaced and all tolerances adjusted. Synth was then tested, calibrated and tuned at the workshop. This would be a great instrument for daily studio use as the maintenance work has been done in advance.  

It sounds huge in the low end and the oscillators track tuning well for its age. All knobs are smooth without any unwanted noise and switches work well. Keyboard is even however could use a little work in the upper register still with brushings. It did not bother me. There are marks on the wood due to age, please see photos.

The inner circuitry looks clean and cared for and it seems to me the power supply has been upgraded. There is no serial number I can find, but due to the extra tuning trimmers at the back I estimate it’s a very late model over or around the 10,000 mark. This is often described as the ‘Version 3 board’. Unit is tested and In great working condition.

I have an ( seems to be original 70's ) hard case that I will ship the unit in ( double bubble wrapped ) and then in cardboard for safety. Please see photos. Also, on request I can send playing videos of the instrument. The synth has been used regularly on many sessions. 

Testing and pick up in Hamburg is welcome and PayPal payment, bank transfer or cash is accepted. I will ship anywhere at buyer expense. Please note due to this being a sensitive vintage instrument that shipping is taken fully at the buyers risk. The instrument is tested and working on here at the studio but may need further calibration after shipping that I will not be reasonable for. I will pack the unit very well of course.
