1981 Gibson Les Paul Heritage Series Standard-80 Elite — Honey, Plain Top

A genuinely uncommon example of the Heritage 80 Elite: instead of the quilted or flame maple top most of these carry, this one has a plain, unfigured maple cap under the Honey finish; a rarer factory variation for the Elite spec. Full transparency on its history: at some point a Kahler tremolo route was cut into the top and four holes for string-lock were drilled at the headstock, but the guitar has since been properly restored back to its original Tune-o-matic/stopbar setup with the Kahler cavity filled; the frets have been redone. Importantly, the routing was only done from the front: there's no through-body cavity on the back, so the original mahogany back is untouched. Comes in a non-original hardshell case from the 1990s; no paperwork or certificate included.
