The Yamaha VS6 is a compact installation PA speaker built around a 6.5" LF cone driver and a 1" balanced dome tweeter, crossed over at 15kHz. It delivers a peak SPL of 110dB and carries a power rating of 25W continuous / 100W peak at 8Ω. The cabinet supports both 100V and 70V line transformer operation with multiple wattage taps, making it suited to distributed background music and paging systems in commercial or hospitality environments. Coverage is 90° × 90°, the enclosure is moulded HIPS with an IPX3 splash-proof rating for light-duty outdoor or humid-environment use, and connections are made via barrier strip terminals. The U-bracket mounting hardware is included in the design for easy wall or ceiling installation.
