Fieldtone's Weaver started as a pedal and now arrives in Eurorack format with added CV control. The premise is straightforward: capture two seconds of audio through the built-in microphone or input jack, then turn the single large knob to reshape that snippet into loops and textures. There's no undo, no preset slots — each knob movement generates something new and the previous version disappears. A toggle switches between Texture and Rhythm modes, changing how the sampler chops and reassembles your sound, while another toggle keeps pitch shifts either random or sympathetic to the root note.

The modular version adds level controls for three internal elements of the loop, each with a corresponding gate output. This means the Weaver works as a random rhythm generator even when you're not sampling — just use those triggers to fire envelopes or percussion elsewhere in your patch. CV inputs let you start recording remotely and modulate the main knob itself, and a clock input keeps everything synced. Weaver is a great source for random and unpredictable loop generation.
