Hard Drive, by JHS Pedals, is an homage to the high gain alternative rock guitar tones of the 90s and early 2000s consolidated into a single pedal based on no prior circuits. Developed over a span of eight years, Hard Drive emerged with a unique design after the JHS team couldn't find what they were looking for in recreating and building off of circuits from other pedals, amps, and other devices. The result is a circuit that pulls influences and tricks together into a dynamic and reactive pedal that simply is not quite like anything else.

Hard Drive features cascading gain stages, offering copious amounts of distortion on tap. This is then squashed by a hard limiter circuit, before hitting a class AB amplification stage. You'll also find Baxandall-style Bass and Treble controls, along with a sweepable Mid range to dial in the scooped or pushed tone you desire. If you're seeking a drive pedal that goes hard—well, it's in the name! You'll find exactly what you're looking for in the JHS Hard Drive.
